Oh, sorry, we've been talking over at livejournal.com/comic_creators . I should have introduced myself over here before saying something so harsh.

Anyway, I've been reading this series with great enjoyment. But at this point in the story I am lost. I don't understand what's happening and I've been confused for a while -- I've been carried along by the strength of the story.

Now, I'm going to go back and reread it, because I like your work and I'm very interested in this story. But I thought you would like to know that in this sequence you have lost contact with me, a casual but interested reader. I'll go back and keep reading. But you may want to consider doing whatever you need to do to clarify this sequence, because there are a lot of readers dumber and more disinterested than me, and I'd bet that this is a point where you lose some of them.

Well of course I'm going to keep reading -- it's really good. That wasn't my point though. I wanted to let you know about an area that you could make better.
